My 11 minute rant about how THC's Ancient Aliens depicts the Mayan Civilization. 🤬 #reaction

To be honest...I find myself increasingly angry and frustrated with the show THC's Ancient Aliens and here's why:

The show consistently presents a number of very hard to believe theories about the origins and accomplishments of the Maya (or any ancient civilization for that matter), often with a shred of evidence to support them. 🤔

For example...the show says that the Maya civilization had advanced knowledge of astronomy and mathematics that could only have been obtained from extraterrestrial sources (or as we know them...A L I E N S 👽 😂), despite the fact that there's a bunch of evidence of the Mayas sophisticated understanding and knowledge based on their own observations and calculations.

They also talk about this crazy idea the Maya has access to, as said in their own words, "technologies such as levitation and teleportation that are far beyond anything that we currently understand", without offering any logical explanation of how these "abilities" could have been acquired 😒.

At this point...i'm convinced it's intentional and they are more interested in promoting bullshit theories while at the same time demeaning and reducing accomplishments, created and implemented by the ancient civilizations they can't seem to believe did it on their own.
